PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Junior RamDogs program is designed for 5th through 8th grade girls who attend Holt, Mason, or Dansville Public Schools who are interested in developing their gymnastics skills while preparing for future participation in the RamDogs Varsity Gymnastics Team in high school. As a feeder program to the varsity team, Junior RamDogs introduces athletes to the expectations, culture and commitment of competitive high school gymnastics in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Open to gymnasts of all experience levels, the program focuses on skill development, confidence building, and fostering a strong sense of team and work ethic. Athletes have the opportunity to train up to three days per week while learning the fundamentals of competitive gymnastics and what it means to be a part of a team.
While the program primarily focuses on training and development, athletes may participate in limited in-house exhibitions and occasional outside competitions to gain experience in a competitive setting. Throughout the program, athletes are encouraged to demonstrate accountability, dedication, and positive sportsmanship while building relationships with teammates and coaches.
The Junior RamDogs program aims to prepare young athletes for the transition to high school gymnastics by promoting confidence, teamwork, and a strong work ethic while creating a positive and memorable experience in the sport.
